what will it do?
It is an open and low cost device to identify bacteria .
State of the art
who’s done what beforehand?
In microbiology there are various techniques and technologies for the identification of bacteria, from basic based on visual recognition of the shape and / or the symptoms generated each bacteria (at least the best known) to in-depth studies on the morphology, reactions chemical and even the DNA of bacteria, to know more you can see.

By the nature of our system, we chose a simple and common test in microbiology classes, is recognized for its quality and its ease of implementation. It is based on the chemical reaction that has the bacteria in different culture media, one of the most popular is “Test EnteroPluri” developed by the Italian company Liofilchem (http://www.liofilchem.net/ ).
In the brochure Liofilchem, we see the nine simple steps to identify the bacteria.

With these references, we can see that appears possible to develop a device that can recognize changes color by placing the bacteria in different culture media, and thereby identify the bacteria.

_conclusions
To develop a device with 12 sensors is very expensive, and in practice with a sensor device and add usability work days’ just as well that this will develop low-cost version of the device, only a color sensor, here the table of only one sensor.
